Located in Mouraria, the ancient moorish quarter with their typical streets near São Jorge' castle with its beautiful viewpoints. 3 minutes walk from starting point 28 antique tourist tram. It offers easy access to every tourist site in town by foot or bus and metro networks. Three bedrooms, 6 people can sleep comfortably. Airport distance: 8 km. Nearby Sintra, Estoril, Cascais, beaches of Costa da Caparica and beach 19. Outside sunny veranda in summertime (30 m2), wireless inernet (bring your own laptop), satellite TV. Dutch owner, living in Amsterdam as well. Minimum stay: from 4 nights (2-4 people), from 3 nights (5-7 people). From March till October you can enjoy the sunny veranda. The supermarket is 5 minutes away. High standard live music (Brasilian/Portuguese) at night in bar ANOS 60 on the corner of the street. By foot, you can visit nearly all monuments, museums, theatre's and 'miradouros' (beautiful viewing points), old quarters, squares, cafe's and restaurants. (info metro) . It is less than a 15 minutes walk from BairroAlto, Lisbons heart of funky bars and restaurants. List of Fado restaurants (Occupied? 	Mouraria is a ancient area in the heart of Lisbon where fado was born. Together with Alfama, the area is a muddle of very narrow streets and small squares, which gives the visitor a glimpse of a forgotten age. Today, it is still a residential area filled with very cheap taverns serving typical food where you can listen to the melancholic traditional Portuguese music, Fado. More information about Lisbon Though it's very far south, Lisbon's Atlantic breezes keep it generally a little cooler than other cities on the same latitude. June is probably the best summer month to visit, especially since the saints' festivals fall then. Spring and fall are very pleasant, warm, and sunny. Winter tends to stay warm too, but the rain can be relentless. Flying to Lisbon can be cheap! Check KLM, World Ticket Centrum, Air Berlin or Tap Air Portugal. From the airport, a taxi will take you (about € 10) in 15 minutes to our apartment in Mouraria. Did you ever sleep in a windmill? Quinta dos Moinhos de S. Filipe is a paradise! Located in the Serra da Arrábida, it is surrounded by an extremely beautiful natural environment, with dazzling view on Setúbal Bay only 27.5 miles away from Lisbon! moinhossaofilipe The beach 30 minutes away? Come to www.casasesimbra.com. Holiday Flat 30 min south of Lisbon, Casa Sesimbra, a beachfront apartment in an old fishing village!
