Rua Ilha Terceira is a quiet street situated in the heart of Estefania, near Saldanha square and the famous Avenida Republica. A must-do on Avenida Republica is to have breakfast in the wonderful old tea and lunchroom Versailles which has it’s own bakery. Pastelaria Versailles was first opened in 1922. On Saldanha Square there’s the highly frequented cinema Monumental where many young Portugese meet in the bar of the cinema, ‘Movies’. A supermaket is located at only 5 minutes walking distance.

Public transport

From Saldanha metro station you can easily travel to all parts of town. The airport is just ten minutes away by taxi. Parking is free in this area.

The apartment

The 80 m2 apartment has 2 floors and consists of a living toom, two master bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a garden (80m2 as well). The garden is unique and you will find among others a rubber tree, bird of paradise, bougainvillea and a palm and banana tree.

The calm living room has a nice sofabed and is a perfect place to relax. The two bedrooms both have a double bed. One bedroom is overlooking the garden. The kitchen and the bathroom are fully equipped.

• Fridge/ freezer, stove/ oven (electric and gas combination), dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, electric grill, wand blender, dishes, crockery. Cleaning products, teatowels.
• 2 toilets, bathroom with sink, bidet, tub and washing machine.
• Closet space, books, towels, bedlinen, TV, Radio/cd player, wireless internet
• Big garden table with 5 chairs, parasol and a big BBQ.

Prices & conditions

Rates during high-season (till 30/09/2009):

• 2 persons: € 45 per person per night, 3/4 persons: € 35 pppn, 5/6 persons: € 30 pppn.
• Weekly prices: 2 persons: € 500, 3 persons € 650, 4 persons € 800, 5 persons: € 850, 6 persons € 950
• Minimum stay of 4 nights for 4 persons or less.
• Minimun stay of 3 nights for 5/6 persons.
• Price for 6 nights doesn’t exceed the price for a week.

Low-season (from 01/10/2009 till 01/04/2010, with exception of Holiday periods):

• 2 persons: € 40 per person per night, 3/4 persons: € 30 pppn, 5/6 persons: € 25 pppn.
• Weekly prices: 2 persons: € 350/450, 3 persons € 500/600, 4 persons € 600/700, 5 persons, € 650/750 and 6 persons € 750/850
• Minimum stay of 4 nights for 4 persons or less.
• Minimun stay of 3 nights for 5/6 persons.

Prices do not include a 30 € cleaning fee. Clean beds and a thouroughly cleaned house is guaranteed on arrival. We offer a 10% discount on the rates for the second week. If you want to stay a longer period in wintertime, please contact juliekr@xs4all.nl for more information.

Prices include: bedlinen, towels, all the bills, use of washing machine, wireless internet and heating. Flexible arrival/departure times.

Payment procedure: 20 % by reservation to guarantee your booking and to block the dates off for you in the apartment’s calendar. You are required to do the second payment (80%) at least 2 weeks before your arrival. Reservation with contract and accomodating cancellation conditions.
